Collabing with a legend like Tony Hawk and his crew at Birdman to release previously unseen footage of old tricks and inspiring him to revamp those tricks into snacking tricks with your client’s nuggets? And even designing an original skateboard Pilgrim’s Nugget x Tony Hawk board? That’s the dream.

Except, not a dream — it happened.

And it was super fun and incredibly tasty.

The Brief: Pilgrim’s nuggets are on a mission to knock the boring out of chicken. Original stuffed flavors you won’t get anywhere else, and a pledge for only the best ingredients put it on the plate. So, what’s the challenge? They’re an underdog (underchicken?) often overshadowed by the household-name brands like Tyson. We needed a big name and a big, bold, social-first campaign to put them on the radar of our “kidult” audience.

The campaign:
Tony Hawk released previously unseen footage of 3 tricks from the 90s, and revamped them into snacking tricks with Pilgrim’s Nuggets. He asked his fans and Pilgrim’s to share their own snacking tricks for a chance at a signed limited edition “Bawk n Roll” skateboard.
